We’re looking for a Risk Manager to join the Enterprise Risk, Compliance and Assurance team, supporting the business through strategic risk oversight, insight and advice.
This role sits at the centre of key business decisions, where understanding risk, asking the right questions and providing balanced guidance really matters. It’s about more than frameworks. It’s about influencing outcomes and helping leaders navigate complexity with confidence.
You’ll work closely with leaders and teams across Youi, partnering on risk matters, strengthening risk capability and ensuring risks are understood and managed in line with our risk appetite. You’ll also lead and develop the ERCA business partnering team, acting as a central point of contact for the business.
If you’ve built experience in risk management, particularly within financial services, this could be worth exploring.
What you'll be doing
- Providing second line risk oversight and partnering with the business on key decisions
- Monitoring risk exposure in line with Youi’s risk appetite and challenging where needed
- Leading and developing the ERCA business partnering team
- Maintaining and improving risk frameworks, policies and processes
- Delivering risk insights, reporting and analysis to senior leaders and Board Committees
- Using data and systems to identify trends, control weaknesses and improvement opportunities
- Supporting and influencing a strong risk culture across the business
- Coaching stakeholders and building capability in risk management practices
- Collaborating with Group risk teams to deliver broader risk initiatives
