As a Complex Claims Advisor, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving complex liability claims, serving as a referral point for enquiries from our Recoveries and Settlements teams. You will actively engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all interactions uphold our values with competence, efficiency, and professionalism.

What you'll be doing

• A full-time role in-office at Sippy Downs
• Mitigate, monitor and control Credit Hire, Recovery Agent and Litigation costs
• Performing underwriting checks and reviewing lodgement version of events and damage points to ensure alignment with the incident description
• Obtaining relevant information on claims, preparing defence or counteroffers
• Making recommendations on the percentage of liability for the insurer and relevant Third Parties, referring for defence where liability qualifies
• Negotiating reasonable outcomes between Youi and third party representatives
• Handling all client, third party, and other complaints with competence, efficiency, and professionalism
• Ensuring all client interactions and dealings have a quality, service, and compliance focus
• Living and embodying Youi values in all aspects of your work

What you'll bring

• Recoveries or Settlements experience in general insurance is advantageous
• Experience in First Party or Third Party claims handling with a thorough working knowledge of liability matters in relation to motor vehicle collisions
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to articulate and communicate information effectively
• Completed Youi’s 6-month probation period
