Join our Claims leadership team in this newly formed role as a Claims Litigation & Support Team Manager. Here, you'll be responsible for leading a team providing specialist support and technical expertise to the broader Claims departments. This role suits someone passionate about developing culture, providing the appropriate coaching framework, and laying the foundation to help their team achieve their goals.
By providing this leadership support, you will ensure your team achieve their potential and deliver their best by identifying and communicating efficient practices and strategies, and handling claims information effectively.
What you'll be doing
- Managing a team of Litigation Advisors and Claims Information Advisors through effective mentoring and coaching
- Setting the tone of professionalism and performance with technical excellence and strong customer focus
- Manage the day-to-day while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with internal legal teams and external legal partners
- Act as the direct point of contact for Youi’s Legal Panel for recoveries and settlements litigation matters
- Providing an exceptional coaching framework including litigation support and claims information management
- Analysing data to identifying trends and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and regulatory compliance
- Uphold all Youi Values and actively support the embedding of risk culture
What you will bring
- Strong understanding of claims processes, litigation principles, and dispute resolution
- Experience in leading to effectively coach, develop, and performance manage
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to confidently address internal and external bodies
- A willingness to learn and adapt your skills to deliver high results, and develop your teams to do the same
- Thrive in a high-performance team, and manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment
- Confident skills in decision-making, negotiation, and stakeholder management
- Completion of Youi's Ignition program
