Purpose of the role

The Learning Design & Systems Specialist leads capability development initiatives across Operations and Support and manages the administration and optimisation of the LMS, including enterprise-wide mandatory and capability-based training.

Key priorities

• Design, deliver and facilitate engaging enterprise-wide learning solutions aligned to business and workforce strategies
• Partner with stakeholders to identify capability needs and deliver fit-for-purpose learning initiatives
• Support the coordination, delivery and continuous improvement of internal leadership development programs
• Manage training governance to ensure compliance, quality standards and consistency across the organisation
• Administer, optimise and report on the LMS to enhance learner experience and capability outcomes Monitor training effectiveness through reporting, analytics and continuous improvement
• Support operational change through effective communication and stakeholder coordination
• Champion Youi values, risk management, safety and a strong learning culture

About you - Experience & Knowledge:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in adult education, training or equivalent experience
• Experience in learning design, coaching and training delivery, ideally within Financial Services or General Insurance
• Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting, and regulatory requirements
• Proven project delivery experience in a learning or capability environment
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office and digital collaboration tools (e.g. SharePoint)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
• Demonstrated alignment to Youi’s 8Q leadership framework, including integrity, resilience and execution focus
• Ability to think strategically while managing detail to support effective decision-making
