Provide leadership in managing runoff intermediated claims across Home, Landlord, and SME products to deliver optimal, compliant outcomes.
18 Month Fixed Term contract.
- Lead and support a team to meet service and performance targets.
- Monitor and report on claims service delivery weekly.
- Ensure operational controls meet regulatory compliance.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging deep understanding of the role.
- Proactively manage risk and support continuous improvement.
- Follow all WHS policies, reporting hazards and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Promote a strong risk culture across the team and business.
About you
Experience & Knowledge:
- Degree in business, insurance or a related field (preferred, not essential).
- 5+ years’ experience leading teams in a complex service environment.
- Proven background in managing insurance claims.
- Skilled in leading remote, high-performing teams and managing performance.
- Strong conflict resolution and client management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of property claims legislation and regulations.
- Understanding of general insurance and broker environments.
- Awareness of industry trends and innovations in claims service.
- Commercial thinker with strong planning and problem-solving skills.
