Purpose of the role 

Support risk and compliance functions across operations by managing risk incidents, conducting controls testing per the assurance plan, maintaining risk and compliance processes, assessing compliance impacts, and collaborating with the business to enhance processes and add value.

Key priorities 

• Manage Risk Incidents: Monitor, action, escalate, and resolve risk incidents in line with frameworks.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Support compliance maintenance based on 2nd line risk recommendations.
• Evaluate Risk Controls: Test and assess control effectiveness, considering residual risk impacts.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with teams to enhance risk awareness and control management.
• Support Risk Framework Improvements: Assist in implementing updates to Risk and Compliance frameworks.
• Uphold Company Values: Foster a positive team environment aligned with Youi values.
• Workplace Safety: Follow WHS policies, report hazards, and promote a safe work environment.

About you 
Experience & Knowledge:

• Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in commerce, management, or finance (preferred but not required).

Experience & Knowledge:

• Financial sector experience with risk management understanding.
• Business knowledge and service-oriented mindset.
• knowledge of regulatory environments.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong numeracy, analytical, and spreadsheet skills.
• Effective time management and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
