Join our dynamic Claims team as a Catastrophe Claims Advisor on a 6-month contract. In this role, you are pivotal in shaping Youi’s reputation and relationships, as the key point of contact for clients and service providers. You will apply your strong problem-solving and communication skills to ensure positive claims experiences related to catastrophes. You will tackle diverse challenges alongside a supportive team that values customer satisfaction and creative solutions.

About the role

• 6-month contract
• Onsite and full time, Monday-Friday
• Handle and process insurance claims related to catastrophic events, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Communicate with customers in a compassionate and professional manner, providing support and guidance throughout the claims process
• Investigate and assess the extent of damage, loss, or injury to determine coverage and liability
• Collaborate with internal teams, adjusters, and external partners to facilitate the claims resolution process
• Keep detailed records and documentation of claims activities and communications
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and industry trends
• Provide timely updates to customers on the status of their claims and answer any inquiries they may have
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards

About you

• Experience in administration, with high attention to detail
• Familiarity with case or portfolio management is a plus
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate information
• Skilled at multitasking and thriving in high-pressure environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making capabilities
