Join our team as a Home Claims Specialist in the Escalated Claims. In this role, your primary focus will be handling a diverse range of claims, ensuring they are managed with fairness and efficiency whilst adhering to GICOP requirements, managing risk and supporting our vulnerable customers.

About the role

• Onsite and full time, Monday to Friday role
• Manage claims falling within the escalated claim framework across all risks
• Attend escalated claims meetings, providing comprehensive reports on each claim's status
• Foster close relationships with assessing teams, service providers, procurement, and customers for streamlined claims processing
• Collaborate with various departments, such as legal, EXCO, IDRS, assessing, and procurement, to achieve mutually beneficial claims decisions
• Conduct thorough reviews of claims, offering feedback to stakeholders for continuous learning, comprehensive analysis, and process improvements
• Make upper-level claim decisions
• Demonstrate adaptability in resolving different scenarios and catering to various customer mindsets for positive outcomes
• Ability to review and comprehend submitted reports, taking necessary actions based on findings (e.g., Hygienist report & engineers reports)
• Adherence to GICOP requirements
